For AIOP 2018 Body  TANGA! Built a mobile performance structure that was part interior domestic space, part exterior environmental space, and part functional hair salon.  The sculpture was at once reminiscent of a raft, parade float, and an architectural fragment. 

TANGA! used the mobile space to give participants hairstyles, and general make-overs of their choosing.

TANGA! Sought to examine “WOMAN as LEADER”, rearranging current structural issues underlying the inequity in labor practices through durational performances along 14th street in New York City.  All participants experienced HERness (HER as possessive determiner).
